Engineers Diagnostic Centre Pvt Ltd

Engineers Diagnostic Centre was formed in the year 2006 by the team of Dr. Babu T Jose, Former Dean, CUSAT and a pioneer in foundation consultancy in the state of Kerala, Dr. Anil Joseph, Managing Director- Geostructurals (P) Ltd & CECONS (P) Ltd and Ms. Bindu Sunil (Director Retrofitting/ Structural Designs) for providing expertise across a range of speciality areas under a single roof.

The purpose of formation of EDC is to come up with professional Geotechnical issues together and laboratory testing so that the parameters which are used for the design of infrastructure building projects are dependable. It was from Geotechnical investigations and laboratory testing EDC ventured into the areas of Structural, Topographical surveying, Evaluation and retrofitting of deteriorated structures etc.

In the year 2013, EDC was converted into EDC (P) Ltd.
The laboratory is well equipped to derive parameters which are critical for the design of foundation and structures. The facilities cover the testing of soil, concrete & environmental parameters.

Our mission is to provide reliable Geotechnical, Structural & Environmental testing and evaluation to the industry, always upholding quality and integrity in our business. Our management significantly invests in the latest field and laboratory equipment to ensure that its equipment and testing processes are highly dependable and provide realistic results.

EDC is working along with its two sister concerns – CECONS (P) Ltd & Geostructurals (P) Ltd.
Cochin Engineering & Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd., Cecons, based in Cochin was established in the year 1985 as an Engineering consulting firm with in-depth knowledge in the field of Structural and Geo-technical Design. Later on Cecons was involved in soil investigation and piling and now are into super-structure works of buildings and bridges. Over the years Cecons has made its mark in all these fields as a highly qualified and reliable group.

Geostructurals, based in Cochin, India, was born out of the vision of a group of Engineers seeking professional excellence in the field of Civil Engineering and related fields. As a leading consulting firm, the team is well experienced in the design of Reinforced Cement Concrete, Pre- Stressed Concrete and Steel structures including composite concrete bridges.

EDC is also venturing into the field of Enviro Geo Technology & Soil Remediation.
For technical upgradation, EDC has joined hands with Group Van Vooren, founded by Eddy Van Vooren, based out of Zelzate, Belgium which is specialised on Soil consultancy , Geotechnical and architectural laboratory, Soil and groundwater remediation, Business Process Outsourcing, Management of buildings & Project development.

EDC has got association with Van Vooren Group, Belgium since 2017 for technical upgradation.
